Every other weekend, I write about categories I've operated in — software, consumer, design, society. Notes about what I am building, and at times some digressions as well.

What I write about

These days I write about categories I've operated inside — software, consumer, design, society — and why most of them are a different problem than they look from the outside. Distilled notes every other weekend, and sometimes absolutely random things too.

About

I grew up in small-town India, in a family that worked in government, and got to Bangalore by way of most of the stops in between. The distance between the India I was raised in and the India I work in is still most of what I find interesting.

Now I'm building Ministry of Oats, a clean-eating food company. Year three — far enough in to finally have something worth saying about it.

Before that, Recurr — one of the first SaaS-native agencies in India, which Goodera acquired in 2022. We built a publication called SaaStitute along the way. I had landed in B2B SaaS in 2015, back when the Indian market was small enough that everyone knew everyone, and spent the decade doing go-to-market. The work I was actually best at was positioning.

And before any of that, I wrote — copy, essays, poems, some of it published.

Things I like

coffee, cooking, music, gin — all things I like.
